How It Works About Us

Credit Profile Authorization

For security purposes and to help the U.S. Government fight terrorism and money-laundering activities, Federal law requires us to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who receives a loan. What this means for you: We ask you for your name, address, date of birth, Social Security Number, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask other questions, or request other documents, in order to verify your identity.

By clicking the check box for this Credit Profile Authorization and continuing with the loan application process, you provide your electronic signature and agree to the following:

You permit Cross River Bank and BorrowersFirst to obtain credit and employment information about you by any means as permitted by applicable law during our review of your loan application and at any time while your loan remains outstanding. This includes obtaining credit reports and other information from consumer reporting agencies, such as TransUnion, Experian and Equifax, and other information from other sources, including employment information. You also agree that Cross River Bank and BorrowersFirst may assign your consent to any entity that may purchase your loan. Upon your request, we will tell you whether Cross River Bank or BorrowersFirst obtained a credit report and we will provide you the name and address of any consumer reporting agency that provided a report to Cross River Bank or BorrowersFirst.

After evaluating your application and credit report, we may elect not to offer you a loan. We may deny your request for a loan if you omit any information on the application, if any information you provide is incorrect, if you do not agree to the application or any other loan requirements, if we are unable to verify your identity, or if you do not otherwise meet our criteria for a loan.
